When Robert Tucker first discovered TheDiscountCard, he was working at a private school in North Carolina, searching for effective fundraising solutions. Little did he know that this discovery would transform his school's fundraising efforts and follow him to a new state.

"I found TheDiscountCard online after researching fundraising options," Robert recalls. "I reached out to Keith Farmer, and he helped us set up a couple of fundraisers each year. As fundraising was new for us, his guidance was invaluable."

The school quickly realized the potential of TheDiscountCard. "We found out how easy raising money was with the discount card," Robert explains. "Most of the work was done by Keith. Once we got the card, selling it came naturally."

Six years ago, Robert moved to Indiana and introduced his new school to TheDiscountCard. The results were astounding. "It has taken off really big now," he says proudly. "We sell 4,000 to 5,000 cards each year, raising about $30,000 annually."

The impact of these funds has been significant. Robert's school has used the money for various projects, including:

- Classroom renovations

- Computer laptop initiatives

- Smartboard TV installations

- Playground equipment upgrades

This year, TheDiscountCard is even contributing to a $250,000 initiative for a new building.

Despite initial skepticism, the school community quickly embraced the fundraiser. "At first, people were skeptical," Robert admits. "But they learned that the card actually sells itself, and the sales get larger each year."

One of the key advantages Robert notes is the immediate and long-lasting value for card buyers. "People use the card and see their return on investment all year long," he explains. "We actually had one parent who kept track of her savings throughout the year. She found out that her $10 card had saved over $600 that year. When people hear her story, they are all in!"

Comparing TheDiscountCard to other fundraising methods, Robert is unequivocal in his preference. "We have done other fundraisers where you sell stuff ahead of time, you order it, then it has to be delivered... Horrible! But with TheDiscountCard, it's so much simpler and more effective."

Robert's experience has made him a strong advocate for TheDiscountCard. "I don't see any reason why organizations don't use TheDiscountCard," he states. "It is so successful and easy to use. I have done a lot of fundraising initiatives through the years, but TheDiscountCard is by far the easiest to implement."

For schools, sports teams, or any organization looking to raise funds effectively, Robert's story provides a compelling case for considering TheDiscountCard. It's not just a fundraising tool; it's a community-building initiative that provides value to everyone involved.

Have you ever felt the weight of a big dream on your shoulders, but lacked the resources to make it happen? I'll bet you know all too well what I am talking about. That was my story many years ago as a youth pastor at a struggling church. Our budget was non-existent and our group was small. But, like the kids and folks in your organization, the kids in my group had big hearts.
